Health Care Comprehensive Emergency Management Plans (CEMP)
Charlotte County Emergency Management is responsible for approving comprehensive emergency plans on an annual basis for select Health Care Facility types. The types covered by our office include:
Hospitals, Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Homes, Adult Day Care Centers, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled, Residential Treatment Centers for Children and Adolescents, and Transitional Living.
We have moved the submission link to an invite only portal, so if you are a new facility or looking to gain access, please reach out to our office at 941-833-4000 or at HealthcareCEMP@seaside-guesthouse.com. The new portal allows for facilities to manage their information and contacts, as well as submit all of the needed criteria each year for review by our office. This new portal retains static facility information for easier submissions each year.
Note: If you are Hospice, Home Health Agency, Home Medical Equipment Provider, or a Nurse Registry, this is not a portal for your agency. Your plans are reviewed and approved by the Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County. For questions, please contact: DOHCEMPReview@FLHealth.gov or call 844-234-9307.
